Arigato..DAIDOKORO DINER

Hitting the busy streets of Doña Vicenta Village with an empty stomach will surely lead you to this place:

DAIDOKORO DINER

A good alternative Japanese restaurant specially for budget conscious like us. (actually my food buddy is the "kuripot" one, hehe..)

It is exactly located at the corner of Telstar St., Road 7 and Jacinto Extension, Doña Vicenta Village DAVAO CITY. (Before reaching Bioessence)

This tiny yet cozy restaurant serves Japanese and Pinoy Cuisine at a very affordable prices.

Best time to dine is during Wednesdays and Sundays because it's "Eat-all-you can" for lunch and dinner. @299 pesos it will surely make you not just"busog" but "super busog"!

Most of their customers are professionals and foreigners, who prefers to have a nice and quite place to dine and have a good chat.

I personally like their tempura, chicken teriyaki, and maki not to mention the buko pandan (it's perfect!). The Ambiance is quite impressive for such tiny place. And I also must commend its good customer service.

Our verdict with my food buddy: (Five stars being the highest)

Food: 3 stars
Ambiance: 3.5 stars
Price: 3 stars
Customer Service: 3 stars

Not bad at all, right? Your 299 pesos will surely go a long way into your stomach. Eat lang ng eat and forget your bulging belly and your baby fats. (ha-ha-ha).

STOP for PIZZA! The CLASSIO Way.

Pizza on the GO. Meet CLASSIO, the first Pizza mobile wood fired oven in Davao City. New concept, very convenient, very affordable and of course delicioso!

Its operation started in the streets of Davao City last August 2014 during the celebration of Kadayawan. After the event, they move along Torres street near Coco's restaurant. Presently, they are located along JP Laurel avenue fronting caltex gasoline station before reaching Rivera drive. The store operates daily from 7:00 pm to 1:00 am. They served 6 flavors of Pizza at a very affordable prices: All cheese, Hawaiian, Italian Sausage, Mortadela, Pepperoni and Nacho Pizza.

The idea of putting this concept together came from the four (4) energetic men namely: Iran Kirby, Jonathan, Bon Jovi and Gio. These young entrepreneurs are very hands-on in attending the needs of their customers from taking orders up to food preparations.

What is uniquely CLASSIO is the mobile "pugon". Its customized design using firewood, patterned from the original pizza oven in Italy. It maintains certain temperature which makes the pizza dough more crisp and the cheese wow! it blended so well with the flavors as it melts.

Such a small space but jam-pack with people who patronizes Classio Pizza way back from the time it started. And some are just passers by like us.

Our verdict with my food buddy:
4 Stars for the Taste, the Ambiance and the Price.
(5 stars being the highest)

So if you happen to be along JP Laurel now, try Classio and have a taste of a locally made Pizza. Whether for dine-in or take-out just grab one before they move again.
